ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

I am Lalaine Pascual, Managing Director and Professional Bookkeeper of Pascual Bookkeeping Services Inc.

I finished my four-year post-secondary education with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (2000-2004). Before I graduated, I was awarded an academic scholarship which supported me to continue my education.

I also worked as an Accounting Technician in a bus manufacturing company in my home country before I moved overseas. I worked in the administration and finance department of multinational companies before we decided to move here to Canada.

In 2011, I embraced the new challenges of my career here in Saskatchewan, Canada. I worked in the small, medium, and multinational companies as Financial Administrator, Office Administrator, and Bookkeeper. In 2013, I took an evening course in Bookkeeping for Small Business and Entrepreneur at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Saskatoon (previously SIAST). This was the start of my passion for bookkeeping. I also experienced the demand for bookkeeping services because I have spoken to some small businesses in a networking group and as business owners are often lacking in time, many choose to hire bookkeepers to keep company records well maintained. Certainly, bookkeeping is necessary and beneficial to business owners. Proper bookkeeping can help businesses effectively manage cash flow, stay well-informed on company performance, and develop plans for the future.

After about years of my combined education, work experience, training and seminars, I decided to pursue my virtual bookkeeping business in the year 2016 as a Sole Proprietor then later incorporated in the year 2019. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and skills, becoming an independent bookkeeper is one of my biggest dreams in life. I have the mission to give unprecedented convenience for business owners in Saskatchewan and other provinces and territories of Canada, which is to focus more on their business profitability. I am offering my virtual bookkeeping services to serve an extensive range of industries, including but not limited to advertising, construction, cleaning services, daycare, dental services, food services, health and wellness, hotel, photography, restaurants, travel, and recruitment services.

I am currently pursuing my Master Financial Advisor - Business Services Specialist Designation Program and CPA license to give essential services to SMBs.
